I completely agree. I believe this kind of thinking goes hand-in-hand with world poverty, economic inequality, and social injustice. This idea that some people are superior to others and have more right to the world's land and resources is horseshit. I hope these recent events in Durango were some ignorant teenagers, but even if it was, what the hell is wrong with people? I also think that our generation has the tools to make some serious changes if we are up to the challenge.
I moved to Durango 4 1/2 years ago from Houston, Tx. I am very excited to announce that I will be graduating from Fort Lewis this Dec, hopefully. My career goal is to be a free lance writer, but I think that is the dream of all English-Communication majors.
