What I think about this book. I am not sure what to say about this book. I have read the entire book and I like several things about the book. I like the fact that he metions that most doctors loose their humanity. That is something that I have experienced myself. My aunt died six years ago from colon cancer. The doctor that she had was a complete asshole and I made sure that he new it. I was removed from the hospital once because I almost punched out a nurse, because of her attitude. Some doctors are completely removed from the world. They feel like everyone deals with this sort of thing like they do day in and day out. So it is nice to read that doctors are made to take a humanity class, they need it.
The one thing I did not like about this book is that he seems to making fun of the thing he is trying to reccommend to everyone, the laugh class. If someone is going to write about something and they want me to take it seriously then I expect them to take it seriously. I dont know, to me it seemed like he was making fun of the laugh classes. I think they are a great idea, some people dont have a sense of humor and need to learn to laugh.
Well that's what I thought.
